About Yaphet

Technology builder and translator, moving between engineers, executives, entrepreneurs, schools, municipalities, and communities.

I have spent much of my career building and supporting technology inside large organizations, working on everything from software platforms and APIs to cloud systems, automation, and production reliability.

But the part of technology that has always interested me most is what happens after the technology works:

Does it actually help someone?

That question has increasingly shaped the work I do.

Today, I work across software engineering, AI, technology consulting, entrepreneurship, and community initiatives. I help organizations explore where emerging technology can create real value, build the systems needed to make those ideas real, and translate technical concepts into language people can actually use.

My experience includes engineering work in Fortune 500 environments, advising and building technology for businesses, developing AI-powered products, supporting connected-device platforms, and leading technology education initiatives.

I also serve in community and technology leadership roles focused on expanding access to technical skills and helping students understand the opportunities being created by technology.

Through speaking, workshops, consulting, and building, my goal is simple:

Help people and organizations use technology to create more capability, more opportunity, and more time for the things that matter.
